Grand Mercure Awaji Island Resort & Spa

Super good resort, we went during the end of our 6 weeks of Japan trip. After all the crazy walking days, it is well deserved to just relax in the onsen and do some simple day activities. We love the baby room where our 7month baby spent many hours playing at. Food is also great, we chose both breakfast and dinner. Best way to come here is by car, but we managed with the highway bus from Maiko. And taxi from Fukura to the hotel is only 1400yen very convenient. Many Japanese family travel here for one day stay. The Onsen is fantastic we enjoyed so much. Maybe we will come back again, but next time we come by car :)

Great amenities including the onsen and rotenburo. Loved the snacks and drinks bar in the arvo and the late night alcoholic drinks bars for adults. Magnificent room with so much space and wonderful views. Hotel with a great location near Fukura town and the bridge to Shikiku

Very friendly staff members, comforting smell in the lounge, free welcome drink bar, cleanliness, big variety of breakfast buffet, great view from the room, great location, luxury skin care amenities in the public bath.

Really good food

Onsen was very nice. Staff was super friendly. Buffet was good.
